Steel wire rope: The "king of ropes" forged from steel

1. Precise Structure: Wire Strands, Strand Coils, Core

Steel Wire: Made by cold drawing of high-carbon steel / alloy steel, with tensile strength ranging from 1570 to 2800 MPa, serving as the stressed core; the surface is often treated with galvanization / stainless steel to enhance corrosion resistance.

Strands: Multiple steel wires twisted into a helical shape, typically with 19 or 37 wires per strand; the twisting direction can be either left or right, and the layers are arranged in opposite directions to counteract torque and prevent rotation.

Core: There are two types - fiber core (FC, made of jute / nylon, suitable for normal temperature and light load) and independent steel wire core (IWRC, resistant to high temperatures and compression, suitable for heavy-duty and high-temperature conditions).

Common Specifications: 6×19 (wear-resistant, suitable for heavy-duty and low-speed applications), 6×37 (flexible, suitable for high-speed bending, such as elevators), 18×7 (super flexible, suitable for aviation cables). 

II. King-level Performance 

Ultra-high strength + Light weight: Under the same weight, its tensile strength is far superior to hemp ropes, synthetic fiber ropes, and even ordinary steel; it can transfer loads over long distances. 

Anti-fatigue and less prone to complete breakage: The multi-layer twisted structure distributes the stress, allowing the broken wires to remain intact for a short period, facilitating early warning. 

Resistant to wear and able to withstand extreme environments: Through coating, lubricating grease, and stainless steel material, it can adapt to marine salt fog, mine dust, and metallurgical high temperatures. 

Both rigid and flexible: It can lift heavy objects weighing tens of thousands of tons when in a rigid state, and can also wrap around the drum and pass through the pulley when in a flexible state. 

III. Core Application Scenarios 

Infrastructure super projects: Main cables of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, suspension cables of the Sutong Bridge, lifting system of the Three Gorges Hydropower Station. 

Industrial lifting / transportation: Tower cranes, port cranes, elevator traction ropes, mine elevators. 

Marine and Aviation: Ship mooring, deep-sea oil and gas platforms, aerospace lifting. 

Passenger transportation: Traction and load-bearing ropes for cable cars and ropeways.
